On Tuesday April 4 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., join me for "Hiking by Poetry Along the New England Trail from Tidewater to the Hanging Hills and Beyond" at the Wallingford Public Library. I'll be reading a series of trail haibun (a marriage of prose and haiku) as part of a larger program about hiking trails in Connecticut and the benefits of hiking, as well as information on safety and hiking clubs and groups. Explore natural wonders, history, politics, myth and tragedy on the trail through spoken word. Get more from each step with poetry.
This "Take a Hike" program is part of the Gray-Wulff Environmental Series. The Wallingford Public Library is at 200 North Main Street, Wallingford, Connecticut. For more call 203-265-6754 or go to http://www.wallingford.lioninc.org/
